The Gorge of Imbros is the second most popular gorge for walkers in Crete after the gorge of Samaria. This picturesque gorge is smaller (8km long) than the Samaria but is also so beautiful. During your excursion you will meet various famous locations such as the “Stenada”,“Mesofarango”and “Xepitira Arch”. A 2-3 hour walk will easily get you to the end of the gorge at ‘’Komitades Village” where our buses will be waiting to bring you to Chora Sfakion for a relaxing free time at one of the taverns or cafes overlooking the sea.

Pickup early in the morning

Our bus picks you up from your hotel early in the morning.

At the entrance

Stop for breakfast or coffee at the entrance of imbros gorge (entrance fee 5 euros)

At about 10:40

Begin hike at 10:40 (walking time depends on you and it varies between 2-3 hours)

After Hiking

Departure for Chora Sfakion village for lunch or swim about 2,5-3 hours free time

At 18:00

Return to Chania at about 18:00-18:30.
